Ontario’s manufacturing industry is strong and diverse, with companies making everything from cars and trucks to telecommunications equipment, computers and electronics, jets and landing gear, chemicals, plastics, transportation and food processing equipment.

And Ontario has an equally strong advanced manufacturing technologies sub- sector. There are close to 400 AMT firms and their innovations run the gamut from new materials to robotics and manufacturing automation, enabling Ontario manufacturers to meet the productivity, quality and cost competitive demands of the global market.
