Windsor-Essex Coming Together to Promote Region: McGuinty Government Supports Local Marketing Efforts

NEWS

Ontario is helping Windsor-Essex carry out a series of marketing activities to strengthen the region’s international reputation, supporting the region’s economic recovery strategy.

With support from a provincial grant, Windsor-Essex is working to build awareness of the region’s strengths. This will help Windsor-Essex re-brand and re-position the region as an attractive location for businesses to invest.

Promoting the province internationally is a key component of the plan laid out in Ontario’s 2011 Budget — Turning the Corner, to create and support 10,000 new and existing jobs for Ontario families and strengthen local economies.
