Kingston Manufacturer Creating New Jobs: McGuinty Government Helps Local Company Increase Production

NEWS

Ontario is helping Operational Performance Systems (OPS) expand its business and create new jobs in Kingston.

OPS designs and installs storage systems for emergency vehicles for EMS, fire and police departments, as well as vehicles for utility companies. These storage systems are vital to emergency staff – giving them the tools they need to provide quality healthcare to Ontarians and protect our communities.

With Ontario’s support, OPS is upgrading their facility and purchasing new equipment.  The project will help the company increase production while decreasing costs.

Partnering with local businesses and supporting the manufacturing sector is part of the McGuinty government’s plan to create and support new and existing jobs for Ontario families, and strengthen local economies.
