Support For Aerospace Industry Creates New High Tech Jobs: McGuinty Government Supports Cutting-Edge Company To Become More Competitive

NEWS

Ontario is helping Magellan Aerospace — a leading Canadian manufacturer of aerospace systems and components — expand its advanced machining operations and create and protect 22 jobs.

With the province’s support, Magellan is upgrading and enhancing its Kitchener and Mississauga facilities to develop the next generation of aerospace products.  The new equipment will help the company be more competitive in the global market and enable them to manufacture critical, precision components for aircraft.

Partnering with businesses and modernizing Ontario's tax system is a key part of the McGuinty government’s plan to create jobs for Ontario families and enhance programs and services that matter to Ontario families such as health care and education.
