Ontario Helps Local Cabinet Maker Create New Jobs: McGuinty Government Moving Economy Forward

NEWS

Ontario is helping Bode's Custom Cabinets Ltd automate its wood working shop and grow its business creating 10 new jobs and protecting 17 existing positions.

With the province’s support, the company is installing the latest computer-aided design and manufacturing technology.  This will:

  • Enhance the estimating and design process
  • Streamline manufacturing operations and reduce waste
  • Lower production costs, helping the company win new customers and grow its business.

Ontario is providing a strong and stable environment for businesses to grow and create good jobs for families in the face of global economic uncertainty. These new jobs build upon the 124,800 net new full time jobs that have already been created in Ontario so far this year alone.

Fostering growth of local businesses is part of the McGuinty government’s plan to create and support new and existing jobs for Ontario families, and to strengthen local economies.
