Ontario Helps Local Tire Recycling Company Create Jobs: McGuinty Government Supports Moose Creek’s Local Economy

NEWS

Ontario is helping Moose Creek Tire Recycling Inc. improve its production capabilities and create 20 new jobs while protecting 10 existing positions.

With the province’s support, Moose Creek will invest in new state-of-the-art equipment that will allow the company to:

  • enhance its tire recycling capacity
  • improve its manufacturing capabilities, and
  • ensure 100 per cent of materials extracted from recycled tires are properly recovered.

Ontario is providing a strong and stable environment for businesses to grow and create good jobs for families in the face of global economic uncertainty. These new jobs build upon the 124,800 net new full-time jobs that have already been created in Ontario so far this year.

Partnering with local businesses is part of the McGuinty government’s plan to create and support jobs for Ontario families, and to strengthen local economies.
