Open for Business Announces Its Action Now Strategy.

Open for Business is the Ontario Government’s ambitious three-year initiative to create faster, smarter and streamlined government-to-business services that make Ontario more attractive for business development while protecting the public interest. It also seeks to transform the Ontario government-to-business relationship.

Led by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Open for Business serves as a foundation to the government's Five-Point Economic Plan to create a stronger and more prosperous Ontario.

To achieve this goal, the Government will take action in three key areas:

1. Modern Services: transforming the way government delivers services to business across Ontario
2. Modern Government: transforming the way government develops policies and provides regulatory oversight
3. A New Relationship with Business: creating new, open and transparent relationships between government and business
