
The VQA Wine Support Program is a five year program (2010-14) that is intended to support the continued growth and development of wineries in Ontario. The program encourages wineries to undertake new or expanded activities to grow their VQA business and be more competitive in the wine and grape industry.

Program eligibility is limited to wineries selling VQA table wines through the LCBO. 2010 grant payments will be based on LCBO sales data for the period April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will be sending applications to wineries that are eligible for 2010 program funding in May 2010. Application Forms and the Program Guidelines can be downloaded from the link below.

Applications for the first round of the VQA Wine Support Program will be accepted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade until June 30, 2010 at 5:00 PM. It is expected that the 2010 grant payments will be made to eligible wineries in late summer 2010.
