The Northeastern U.S. is a key commercial market for Ontario, so it was no surprise that Pupatello’s first trip as Minister of International Trade and Investment was to New York February 22-23 for one-on-one meetings with leading life sciences companies.

While there, she also took part in the Economic Intelligence Unit’s Conference on Innovation and met with journalists.

Her message? If you’re looking to expand—or conduct leading-edge R&D—come to Ontario.

As the Minister pointed out, not only is our economy outperforming those in the rest of the developed world, but we’re cultivating and supporting innovation in high demand industries with well-funded programs and R&D incentives. And we welcome foreign investment.
