Advanced Manufacturing Investment Strategy announcement at FAG Aerospace

STRATFORD, February 20, 2007 – Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and Economic Development and Trade Minister Sandra Pupatello announced a $1.78 million loan to FAG Aerospace to support research and development that will enhance the manufacture of precision bearings at the company’s Stratford facility.

Minister Pupatello describes how the government’s Advanced Manufacturing Investment Strategy helps manufacturers become more innovative and competitive.

Minister Pupatello meets with FAG Aerospace workers.  The government’s investment will support the creation or retention of 438 jobs.  The Minister is holding one of the precision bearings manufactured at the company’s Stratford facility.
