The Ministry of Municipal Affairs (MMA) is proposing to revoke the current version of the Building Code (Ontario Regulation 332/12) and replace it with a new edition under the Building Code Act, 1992. It is proposed that the new edition come into effect in January 2019. |

The Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act (the "ONHWP Act") was created to provide deemed statutory warranties for new homes. The Tarion Warranty Corporation (Tarion) is consulting on a draft regulation required in order to proclaim amendments previously made to the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act and the Condominium Act that would extend most new home warranties to certain residential condominium conversion projects (RCCPs). |

Other amendments will support quality improvement, clarify expectations and strengthen accountability for the planning of French Language Services by the LHINs in consultation with the French Language Health Planning Entities. |
