Summary of Proposal: The government is proposing a new Integrated Accessibility Regulation under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.

As per public feedback, the proposed regulation will streamline, align and phase-in accessibility requirements. This will allow for progress on accessibility and reduce regulatory burden for obligated organizations.

The proposed Integrated Accessibility Regulation will prescribe requirements in the following areas:
