The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is proposing to make regulations under the Planning Act to delegate Ministerial approval for plans of subdivision/condominium, consents and related approvals to the Central Temiskaming Planning Board, in accordance with section 4 of the Act. This would include a consequential amendment to O. Reg. 691/98 to revoke the Township of Chamberlain's delegation of authority to grant consents and related approvals.

To seek input on proposed regulatory amendments to the approval process for some fish related activities administered under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act.

The regulation makes every independent health facility (IHF) within the meaning of the Independent Health Facilities Act a prescribed health service provider for the purposes of the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006 (LHSIA). The change, along with a corresponding change under the Independent Health Facilities Act, is required to allow local health integration networks (LHINs) to fund IHFs.

The regulation makes Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) and every local health integration network within the meaning of the Local Health Integration Act, 2006 a prescribed person for the purposes of subsection 3(3) of the Act. Subsection 3(3) states that facility fees may only be charged to or a payment received from the ministry or a prescribed person. The change is required to allow CCO and local health integration networks (LHINs) to fund IHFs.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food (OMAF) and the Ministry of Rural Affairs (MRA) are proposing to amend Ontario Regulation 31/05 (Meat) under the Food Safety and Quality Act, 2001. The proposed amendments would clarify some of the language in the regulation and promote flexibility and more outcome-based compliance requirements. In addition, the proposal aims to further build competitiveness and support innovation in the meat industry.

Outline of the intended content of regulatory amendments required to enable eligible individuals experiencing financial hardship to access locked-in funds in a simpler more streamlined manner. The proposed regulations would generally mirror the application requirements related to other types of fund withdrawals addressed in Schedules 1-3 of Regulation 909 of the Pension Benefits Act, which are currently administered by financial institutions.

The proposed regulation made under the Building Code Act, is a part of the Building Code consultation process and could eventually become part of a future edition of the Building Code (O. Reg. 350/06). The proposed regulation relates to the construction of buildings generally, including the construction of sewage systems.
