On May 1, 2014, O. Reg. 121/14 was filed with the Registrar of Regulations and came into effect on that day. The regulation amends the park boundary (P2370) by adding Sydney Lake and Douglas Lake additions. The regulation was published in the May 17, 2014 edition of the Ontario Gazette.

Regulation under the Environmental Protection Act and Environmental Assessment Act for the conversion of coal-fired electricity generating facilities to biomass.  (source: Environmental Registry)

The Ministry of the Environment is proposing regulations under the EPA and Environmental Assessment Act (EAA) that will require the operators of the existing coal-fired electricity generation facilities to comply with the Electricity Projects and Waste Projects Regulations made under the EAA and obtain any required Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA) under the EPA or the Ontario Water Resources Act (OWRA), in place of a Renewable Energy Approval.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food (OMAF) is proposing an amendment to R.R.O. 1990, Regulation 1096 - General (the Regulation) in order to make two minor changes to the Schedule of Noxious Weeds. The proposal is to remove milkweed spp. (scientific name Asclepias spp.) from the Schedule of Noxious Weeds in the Regulation and to add dog-strangling vine.

Proposed Service Provider Licensing Regulations

The 2013 Ontario Budget included a commitment to introduce legislative amendments that would, if passed, "Give the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) authority to license and oversee business practices of health clinics and practitioners who invoice auto insurers". This authority was included in The Prosperous and Fair Ontario Act (Budget Measures), 2013, which received Royal Assent on June 13, 2013 (provisions to come in force on proclamation).

Liquor Licence Act Regulation: VQA Wine Sales in Farmers' Markets

Proposed regulation to allow Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) wine to be sold at farmers' markets, by occasional extensions of on-site winery retail stores.

Proposed Ontario Regulation made under the Skin Cancer Prevention Act (Tanning Beds), 2013.

The purpose is to protect youth from exposure to artificial ultraviolet (UV) radiation from tanning that can cause malignant melanoma, a deadly form of skin cancer, later in life.

Administration of Justice Act Regulation: Changes to Transcription Fees

The ministry is recommending a new fee schedule that will: better reflect industry standards and address current technology and formats, appropriately compensate authorized court transcriptionists, and provide more service level options for court users, including options for same day or expedited service.

Regulations Under the Line Fences Act

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is proposing specific amendments to Ontario Regulation 714 (Appeals), Ontario Regulation 715 (Forms) and Ontario Regulation 716 (Land in Territory Without Municipal Organization) under the Line Fences Act.
