We are proposing to amend Ontario Regulation 664/98 to exempt low-risk research facilities culturing fish from requiring an aquaculture licence.

The College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is proposing amendments that would allow individuals holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree awarded by an approved publicly-funded college to apply to be a registered nurse in Ontario.

The Security from Trespass and Protecting Food Safety Act, 2020 ["Act"] aims to better protect agri-food workers, farm animals, livestock transporters, and the province's food supply from risks caused by trespassers. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs ["the Ministry"] would like to consult on a supporting Minister's Regulation required before the Act can be fully operational.

At the request of Veal Farmers of Ontario (VFO), and with the support of the Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO), the Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission (Commission) is proposing amendments to O. Reg. 272/14: Veal Cattle - Plan and O. Reg. 58/15: Veal Cattle - Marketing.

Amend regulation to:
1. Allow for a temporary 1.25 cent/kg turkey marketing levy on both turkey producers and processors so they may jointly fund a national marketing program.
2. Align the prescribed maximum levy amount with the current amount collected from turkey producers to fund a national agency
3. Change "Ontario Turkey Producers' Marketing Board" to "Turkey Farmers of Ontario".
