Amendments to Reg. 194 under the Courts of Justice Act (Rules of Civil Procedure) to require certification of the authenticity of the authorities cited in factums and certification of the authenticity of the authorities and other documents and records cited in expert reports and to eliminate the duplicate filing of notices of application.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness is proposing amendments to the Farm Implements Act (FIA), Regulation 369: General and O. Reg. 123/06: Dealership Agreements to provide cost savings and reduce administrative burden for dealers and distributors, streamline the dispute resolution process and to enhance protections for rural Ontario dealerships.

As part of the Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024, the Ministry of Red Tape Reduction (MRTR) is proposing amendments to the Modernizing Ontario for People and Businesses Act, 2020 (MOPBA) to require ministries to consider individuals when reflecting on principles of regulatory modernization as they develop proposals and, in prescribed circumstances, to analyze and publish the potential regulatory impact on individuals.
