Past Proposals
The government is now reintroducing the proposed Great Lakes Protection Act, 2013 (Bill 6). Minor changes were made to the proposed Great Lakes Protection Act, 2013 to align the proposed Act with Ontario's Great Lakes Strategy which was released in December 2012, and to correct minor legislative drafting errors.

The Ministry of the Environment would like to engage the public in the development of a greenhouse gas emissions reduction program. The discussion paper will be used to support discussions and elicit input on the development of a greenhouse gas emissions reduction program. The province is also interested in the perspectives of other interested parties who can submit comments to the ministry through the Environmental Registry on any aspect of the program.
