Past Proposals
The Ministry of Energy is proposing to make regulatory amendments to Ontario Regulation 95/05 that would support the Ontario Energy Board in delivering, through local distribution companies (LDCs), pilot programs that test alternative pricing options that are aimed at achieving the RPP objectives of reducing system peak, supporting the achievement of efficient electricity systems operation and investment, and enhancing consumer choice and control.

The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change is proposing a number of revisions and updates to the Ministry's Technical Guide to Renewable Energy Approvals to provide additional guidance in support of the regulatory amendments which came into effect on May 1, 2016 (EBR Decision Notice 012-4493). The purpose of the Technical Guide is to provide an explanation of the requirements to complete an application for an REA in accordance with O. Reg. 359/09 under the Environment.

Ontario is conducting a review of the changing nature of the workplace. An Interim Report has been released with a range of options to amend Ontario's Labour Relations Act, 1995 and Employment Standards Act, 2000 to better protect workers while supporting business in today's economy. The review's Special Advisors are seeking submissions on the options in the Interim Report.
