Proposed new legislation - Building Opportunities in the Skilled Trades Act

The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (ministry) is proposing new legislation governing Ontario's skilled trades and apprenticeship system. The proposed legislation would, if passed, establish Skilled Trades Ontario, a provincial agency responsible for a simplified and streamlined delivery model. The ministry would be responsible for compliance and enforcement and regulatory decisions.
