Under the HOT Lanes Pilot expansion, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) plans to expand on the current HOT lanes located on the QEW, by utilizing existing High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes on Highways 410 and 403 to HOT lanes. The HOT lanes permit price will remain unchanged.

On March 4, 2020, the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2020 (TRESA, 2020) received Royal Assent. TRESA, 2020 amends the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 (REBBA).
