Proposal for a regulation under the Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019 to enable authorized grocery stores and wine boutiques to sell wine and cider through their websites for curbside pickup. This change would be part of the modernized legal framework of beverage alcohol.

The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is soliciting public comment on a proposed amendment that will exempt bus drivers from Ontario's current seat belt law that requires bus drivers to ensure child passengers under the age of 16 are wearing a seat belt (Highway Traffic Act s. 106(4)).

As part of the Child Welfare Redesign Strategy, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) committed to creating more consistent and responsive adoption experiences for children, youth and adoptive families. MCCSS is proposing to issue a policy directive to children's aid societies that will support more children to achieve permanency through adoption by expanding opportunities for children to be matched with prospective parents who are approved for adoption in Ontario.

The Ministry of Education (EDU) is seeking community input on the proposed amendments to Ontario Regulation 296 (Ontario Schools for the Blind and the Deaf) to expand the persons who may submit an application for admission to a provincial school, where the student is a First Nation person who ordinarily resides on reserve.

The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development is proposing to modernize the Notice of Project (NOP) requirement under O. Reg. 213/91- Construction Projects by potentially replacing the $50,000 monetary threshold with an expanded list of hazard-based triggers in order to continue to identify high-risk construction projects and protect the heath and safety of construction workers.
