We are proposing to add new waste materials to the Off-Farm Anaerobic Digestion Materials Protocol under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002. The proposed changes would result in consistent eligibility of organic waste materials from the production of ingredients, irrespective of where the ingredients are produced.

The Ministry of Health is posting a notice of a proposed regulation under PHIPA for public consultation in the period December 20, 2024 to February 18, 2025.
The proposed amendment to O. Reg. 329/04 (General) under PHIPA (the PHIPA Regulation) would name Ornge as a "Prescribed Person" (i.e., a Prescribed Registry) in respect of its planned operation of the Critical Care Information System, replacing Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.
The PHIPA Regulation currently identifies "Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation" as the prescribed person in respect of the Critical Care Information System under section 13 of the PHIPA Regulation.

The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness is seeking input on proposals that would amend the Milk Act and the Food Safety and Quality Act, 2001 to:
• support consistency in the end use pricing of milk ingredients used in the processing of milk products; and
• enable the transfer of the food safety and quality provisions from the Milk Act and its regulations to future regulations under the Food Safety and Quality Act, 2001 (FSQA).
Amendments to the Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA) will also be required to align with these changes.

The Ministry of Energy and Electrification (Ministry) is seeking feedback on proposed regulatory amendments to O. Reg. 735/20, made under the Electricity Act, 1998 and legislative amendment to the Electricity Act, 1998. Following a request of the Ontario Flue-Cured Tobacco Growers' Marketing Board (OFCTGMB), the Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission is proposing to amend Ontario Regulation 208/09 Tobacco - Marketing to change the deadline date by which producers must submit their acreage declarations to the OFCTGMB. The proposal is intended to enhance the financial stability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance of the OFCTGMB, benefiting both the local board and its tobacco producer members.
