The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) is implementing new planning application fees that recover the full cost of providing land use planning services. The Ministry's current land use planning fees have been in place since 1994. The ministry is moving towards a full cost recovery model for land use planning applications where MMAH continues to be the decision maker. These increased fees reflect the real cost of delivering services. New and increased fees will be phased-in over three years beginning March 1, 2015.
