Summary of Proposal:
On May 28, 2015, Bill 45 the Making Healthier Choices Act, 2015 (Bill) received Royal Assent. Once proclaimed, Schedule 2 to the Bill will make certain amendments to the Smoke-Free Ontario Act (SFOA).

The Ministry is proposing several amendments to Ontario Regulation 48/06 that relate to recent amendments to the SFOA, specifically regarding:

• Flavoured Tobacco Sales Prohibition
• Hospitals and Provincial Government Buildings
• Automatic Prohibition signs
