Summary of Decision:
Legislative amendments were recently made to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999 to transfer responsibility for the existing Horse Racing Partnership Funding Program from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to the Ministry of Finance. This regulation will allow this program, and the agreements signed under the program, to continue.

Summary of Proposal:
The purpose of the regulation is to designate 14 existing transfer payment agreements, originally signed by the Ontario Racing Commission, as falling under the purview of the Minister of Finance, who in turn will delegate the responsibility for administering these agreements to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
