Summary of Proposal:
The Local Services Board of Nolalu (Nolalu) is requesting an alteration to its existing boundaries to include the area known as the Township of Lismore in order to provide residents in this area the Powers of Fire Protection and Recreation.

The LSB of Nolalu has requested an alteration to its current boundaries.

The purpose of this request is to include Lismore Township in order to provide Lismore's inhabitants with services in accordance with Nolalu's existing powers of Fire Protection and Recreation.

If approved, these services would be provided to the inhabitants of the new Nolalu Board area through the service providers currently used by Nolalu - Nolalu Emergency Services Team for Fire Protection, and the Nolalu Community Centre for Recreation.

Nolalu held public information meetings on May 28, 2013 and June 25, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Nolalu Community Centre. At these meetings, Nolalu provided information on the services it provides and the financial implications to the LSB and the proposed new inhabitants.
