An amendment was required to correct a cross reference to a subsection listed in the demerit point table that no longer exists as of January 1, 2016. Specifically, section 140 of the Highway Traffic Act was re-enacted and subsection 140(2) was repealed on January 1, 2016. Item 21 of the demerit point table in Ont. Reg. 339/94 was updated to correct the cross reference by removing the reference to the repealed subsection.
