Summary of Proposal:
Regulation 720 under the Liquor Licence Act has been amended to enable manufacturers holding a manufacturers' licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to be authorized to sell their 100% Ontario fruit wine and cider at farmers' markets through an occasional extension of their on-site retail store authorization. Additionally, Regulation 720 has been amended to allow wineries authorized to sell at farmers' markets to leave from their winery, sell at a farmers' market and return to their winery within a 24 hour period.

Regulation 719 has been amended to permit all beverage alcohol manufacturers to apply to the AGCO for a Tied House Licence for each of the manufacturer's production sites; however, manufacturers would only be permitted to apply for a single Tied House Licence for each manufacturing site.
