Summary of Proposal:
The regulation sets the proxy price annually at $40,000 per gigawatt-hour. The amended regulation removes the end date for the proxy price, continuing the proxy price at $40,000 per gigawatt-hour and removing the need for annual amendments to the regulation to set the fixed proxy price annually to calculate gross revenue. It also eliminates in-year instalment payments for the Gross Revenue Charge for very small generators and includes other administrative amendments.
