The ground mounted 'High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Begins' sign will allow for more flexibility when altering the commencement of a High Occupancy Vehicle Lane for a construction project as currently the only option is an overhead sign. When the construction is completed, the permanent overhead 'High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Begins' signs will be installed.
