Summary of Decision:
O. Reg. 321/12 has been amended to accomplish the following:
Extend, for a period of another 60 days, those Journeyperson Candidates whose whose original extensions were originally scheduled to expire between March 18 and September 18, 2020, as well as those whose terms are scheduled to expire between September 18, and November 18, 2020.
Since in-person Certificate of Qualification exams are significantly limited at this time, these additional 60-day extensions would enable affected individuals who work in compulsory trades to work legally and provides more time for them to take and pass the in-person trade certification exam that is required under OCTAA.
