Summary of Proposal:
The Ministry of the Attorney General is proposing to amend Regulation 718 under the Liquor Licence Act, to remove the 360L cap on liquor that the holder of a Licence to Represent a Manufacturer (Licensed Rep) is permitted to store at their licensed premises for the purposes of delivering in accordance with a purchase order from the LCBO or a manufacturer, carrying out market research, or providing samples. This proposal is being made with the intention of reducing regulatory burden on the licensee and providing them with additional flexibility to store additional product to more quickly respond to customer needs.
