Summary of Proposal:
This proposal would reduce the administrative burden for school boards when hiring and managing supervisory officers. Eliminating the requirement for the Minister to approve these requests would allow boards to complete these human resource process in less time. Boards will remain responsible for confirming the qualifications of supervisory officers and managing any conflict of interest matters with their staff.
