O. Reg. 56/10 made under the Municipal Act, 2001, amending O. Reg. 385/98
● These amendments continue to allow municipalities to set their own transition tax ratios for 2010 to offset the impacts of reassessment, based on a prescribed formula.
● The amendments also set new transition ratios for the County of Essex and the Township of Johnson.
O. Reg. 57/10 made under the Municipal Act, 2001, amending O. Reg. 73/03
● These amendments allow municipalities to continue to apply a levy increase on restricted classes of up to 50% of the residential levy increase for 2010.
● These amendments continue to allow municipalities to set their own transition tax ratios for 2010 to offset the impacts of reassessment, based on a prescribed formula.
