Summary of Proposal:
The amendment would allow the optional removal of the (black and gold square design) VQA logo from packaging if the appellation of origin is displayed on the front label in a font size of at least 3.2 mm.
The amendment would
- Make the appellation of origin and VQA letters more prominent on labels; and
- Refocus labelling to the specific place of origin rather than the generic VQA brand logo.
