Summary of Proposal:
On October 10, 2013, Ontario Regulation 488/06, the Segway Pilot Project, was filed with the Registrar of Regulation. The regulation has been amended to extend the duration of the pilot for five additional years, from October 19, 2013 to October 19, 2018. No additional modifications have been made. The pilot remains open to persons 14 years and older who have a condition that impairs mobility, Canada Post mail carriers, and police officers. The amended regulation come into effect upon filing.
