Summary of Decision:
Section 36 of Regulation 737 of the Revised Regulation of Ontario, 1990, which continues the LSB of Missanabie, sets out its boundaries, establishes the number of Board members and designates its powers, is revoked.

The Local Services Board of Missanabie and the Board area are dissolved by an order of the Minster under section 32 of the Northern Services Boards Act.

The Ministry of Northern Development and Mines is required to publish an invitation to creditors of the Board in the Chapleau Express, Wawa News and Algoma News to inform the Ministry of any claims or debts.

Summary of Proposal:
During the months of May through September 2014, the Local Services Board of Missanabie undertook steps required by the Northern Services Boards Act to request the dissolution of the Local Services Board. These steps included consultation with its inhabitants as well as a vote put forward to the inhabitants at a meeting called for that purpose. All inhabitants present and voting at the meeting voted in favour of the dissolution. The dissolution of the LSB will include the liquidation of all LSB owned assets.
