Summary of Proposal:
The amendments to the Ambulance Act that were included in Schedule 2 to Bill 8 provide the government with a number of oversight powers over designated air ambulance service providers.
By designating Ornge as a designated air ambulance service provider the government would be able to use these powers in connection with Ornge.
