The amendments
-repeal the requirement to stake a claim continuously
- repeal a redundant section that dealt with staking that began before June 3, 1991
- require the recording licensee to visit a boundary of each mining claim during the staking that he or she applies to record
- clarify the rules for staking irregualr lots in subdivided townships.
