Summary of Decision:
O. Reg. 321/12 has been amended to accomplish the following:
Extend, for a period of 120 days, those Journeyperson Candidates and holders of provisional Certificates of Qualifications from the Ontario College of Trades whose certificates or membership expired on or after March 18, 2020. Since in-person Certificate of Qualification exams are significantly limited at this time, these 120-day extensions would enable affected individuals who work in compulsory trades to work legally and provides more time for them to take and pass the in-person trade certification exam that is required under OCTAA.
