Summary of Proposal:
Regulation 976: Grants for Public Libraries has been revised to identify the types of information and documents that the Minister may request from public libraries as a condition of receiving a grant under the Statute, by:
- Removing a reference to an old section of the Public Libraries Act (s. 37) which was repealed as part of the Good Government Act, 2009; and
- Replacing this reference with the new, relevant section of the Public Libraries Act, clause 20 (f).
