Summary of Proposal:
The Centre Jules-Léger Consortium (CJLC) is a consortium of the 12 French-language school boards working together to operate the Centre Jules-Léger (CJL) provincial school and demonstration school for students who are Deaf, blind, deafblind or who have severe learning difficulties.

Analysis of Regulatory Impact:
The primary benefit of the proposed legislative amendment is to provide the flexibility to amend meeting requirements for the CJLC through regulation, as the Ministry of Education has done with in-person and electronic meeting requirements for the province's 72 school boards during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ministry has not identified any costs to proceeding with the proposed legislative amendment.

There will be no direct impact on any education stakeholders other than the CJLC.
