A decision was made to proceed with the regulatory amendments.

On July 1, 2013, regulation changes affecting the following approvals will be implemented:
- Individual and Term Agent Authorizations (2)
- Authorization to Hunt/Trap for Hire or Employ for that Purpose
- Authorization to Destroy, Take or Possess Nests or Eggs
- Authorization to Hold a Wild Fish and Game Dinner
- Authorization to Buy/Sell Live Furbearing Animals
- Licences to Keep and Propagate Specially Protected and Game Reptiles and Amphibians (2)
- Resident and Wildlife Export Permits (2)
- Licence to Send Pelts to a Tanner
- Game Hide and Cast Antlers Dealers Licence and Export Permit (2)
- Certificate of Reporting
- Licence to Possess a Pelt

On January 1, 2014, regulation changes affecting the following approvals will be implemented:
- Resident Licence to Hunt Raccoon At Night
- Licence to Chase Raccoon At Night or Fox, Coyote, or Wolf During the Day
- Licence to Release Wildlife Imported into Ontario or Propagated from Stock Imported into Ontario

The proposal was implemented by amendments to O. Reg. 665/98 (Hunting), 666/98 (Possession, Buying and Selling), 667/98 (Trapping), and 668/98 (Wildlife in Captivity) by O. Reg. 171/13, 172/13, 173/13 and 174/13 respectively. The regulations were filed by the Registrar of Regulations on May 31, 2013 and were published in the Ontario Gazette on June 15, 2013.
