442/95
Instrument Type:
Regulation - LGIC
Bill or Act:
Business Regulation Reform Act, 1994
Summary of Decision:
The Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 is named to Ontario Regulation 442/95 under the Business Regulation Reform Act, 1994. This authorizes programs administered under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 to use the single business number for identification purposes, and to participate in the Ontario Business Directory.

A French language version of Ontario Regulation 442/95 is now provided.
Minor technical amendments were needed in order to translate the existing regulation into French. These amendments have been made in order to align the expression between the French and English versions of the regulation. These amendments, which are technical in nature, have been made to the existing provisions of the regulation that address filings under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. No substantive changes to the Regulation have been made through these amendments.

The amendments include:

a) addition of the year 2005 in the title of the Private Career Colleges Act so that it now reads Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 throughout the Regulation, and

b)inclusion of the term "vocational program" wherever the current regulation specifies the term "program"
