The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) is seeking approval to amend Regulation 552 under the Health Insurance Act to reduce the industry cap by $31.6 million.
The ministry seeks to improve accountability and build on past achievements by reducing the community labs' industry cap while ensuring that the total available funding to the community laboratory sector would not change.
