Take notice that on July 18, 2013, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 210/13.
A Zoning Order regulates the use of land and the erection, location and use of any building or structure on the land. Ontario Regulation 210/13 identifies the lands to which it applies as "Prestige Industrial Area", "Serviced Industrial Area", "Stormwater Management Facility Area", and "Environmental Protection Area" and, in respect of each Area, regulates the use of the lands and the erection, location and use of building and structures on the lands. The Zoning Order will permit a distribution centre and related uses, buildings and structures. A full list of permitted uses can be found in Ontario Regulation 210/13.
