Summary of Proposal:
The purpose of this posting is to provide general notice to the public that the list of where Sunday gun hunting is permitted in southern Ontario has been amended by Ontario Regulation 288/16 to add five municipalities at their request. This change is effective September 1, 2016. The environmentally significant aspects of this regulation were considered during consultation with municipalities and the public on a proposal to expand where Sunday gun hunting could occur during the spring through fall of 2005, including a proposal posted on the Environmental Registry (www.ontario.ca/environmentalregistry and search RB05E6807).

The five municipalities being added are: Township of Hamilton, Municipality of McDougall, Township of Perth East, Township of Seguin, and the Township of Southwold.
