Summary of Proposal:
To implement PLA Section 21.1 by prescribing regulations to enable the occupation of public lands without an individual authorization in specified circumstances.

To amend the existing regulation regarding work permits (O. Reg. 239/13), to clarify that a work permit is required when a person constructs or places a structure or combination of structures that physically touch more than 15 square metres of shore lands and to clarify that waterfront property owners bordered by a riparian road allowance are also eligible for certain work permit exemptions.
