Regulation Number(s):
Ontario Regulation 668/98
Instrument Type:
Regulation - LGIC
Bill or Act:
Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997
Summary of Proposal:
We are proposing to amend Ontario Regulation 668/98 to enable a licensed falconer to live-capture from anywhere in the province one wild raptor from an approved list in a calendar year. This would result in the elimination of the current draw process, expanding opportunities and providing flexibility for licensed falconers who wish to live-capture a wild raptor for use as a hunting companion.

The proposal is not expected to impose any costs to business.
