Summary of Proposal:
Ontario Regulations (O.Reg.) 269/10 and 270/10 amend O.Reg. 465/09 and 466/09 respectively by changing the effective date of the Minister's Zoning Orders from July 1, 2010 to July 1, 2011.

O.Reg. 465/09, as amended by O.Reg. 269/10 applies to land in lots 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, concessions 5, 6 and 7, in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, more particularly identified on Map 219, filed at the Toronto office of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing located at 777 Bay Street. O.Reg. 465/09 will regulate the use of land and the erection and location of use of buildings and structures on the lands subject to the Order, and includes an “Interchange Node Zone” and an “Environmental Protection Zone”. The Order will permit a range of employment uses, including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centres, data centres and food processing facilities. The Order also permits accessory uses, offices and a range of employment supportive uses, including restaurants, banks and retail establishments. Permitted uses in the “Environmental Protection Zone” will consist of conservation and management of plants and wildlife; flood and erosion control; open space; and walking, hiking, bicycling and cross country skiing trails. O.Reg. 466/09, as amended by O.Reg. 270/10 applies to land in lots 6 and 7, concessions 7 and 8, in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, more particularly identified on Map 220 filed at the Toronto office of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing located at 777 Bay Street. O.Reg. 466/09 will regulate the use of land and use of buildings and structures on the lands subject to the Order, and includes an “Environmental Protection Zone”. The Order will primarily permit agricultural uses, agriculture-related uses and accessory uses. Permitted uses in the “Environmental Protection Zone” will consist of conservation and management of plants and wildlife, and flood and erosion control. The Orders implement the decision of the Ontario Municipal Board approving Official Plan Amendment Number 15 to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Official Plan.
